JAN 7, 2009 --- Membership Dues: The $120 annual membership fee is due by the 20 January meeting. The capability to pay via new website is not in place, so payment may be made by check, and sent to the Treasurer (go to Points of Contact) or brought to the next meeting.

DEC 16, 2009 --- New Officers: Jo Stinett will move from Vice President to President. Gerry Roybal has assumed Treasurer responsibilities, and Gary Thompson has assumed Vice President responsibilities. Both will both continue in their current roles as Membership Chairperson and Secretary, respectively, until replacements can be identified. Please contact any Board member if you are willing to serve, or just want to discuss, Membership Chair, Secretary, or Co-Secretary duties. The new officers will be formally presented for formal approval at the January 20 meeting.

NOV 18 , 2009 --- CE Credits: For any members who are renewing their licenses this year, and needing immediate certification of the 2 hours of CE credit from the November meeting, please contact Co-Secretary Jan Ostby.

NOV 17 , 2009 --- Treasurer Change: Due to personal reasons involving illnesses in the immediate family and other obligations, Treasurer Dave Lauffer regretfully resigned his position as CAREA Treasurer. In the interim, before a new Treasurer formally takes office as of the January 20, 2010 meeting, Don Rasmussen will be assuming the Treasurer duties.

JULY 15, 2009 --- Meeting Time Change: Membership meetings have been moved up by 30 minutes. Beginning with the September 2009 meeting, dinner and checkin will be available at 5:00pm, business meeting at 6:00pm, and main program from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

FEB 20, 2009 --- Reduced Guest Fees: Beginning with the meeting on March 18, 2009, guest fees have been reduced to $20 (previously $30). Please note that guests will not receive any appraiser Continuing Education (CE) credits; only members are eligible for CE credits.
