Highlights:
In Jan, G.J. Baker, who had been elected Vice President, resigned from the office & recommended Jim Mathews in his stead. The Jan Christmas Party was skipped in lieu of a summer picnic/meeting; the Jul meeting (sponsored bus trip to Cripple Creek) was cancelled due to limited interest. Faxing of CAREA meeting bulletins/fliers to members began in lieu of mailings. In Sep, the general membership reported that, although many members had readied themselves for EDI appraisal work, very few request for such were being received.

Highlights
: Following the efforts of Bob Bills, G.J. Baker, & Bill Weeks, our Education Chairman, Stewart Leach, Program Administrator for the Colorado Board of Real Estate Appraisers, approved our May class on “The URAR Market Grid & Adjustments” for two hours of continuing education. This was the beginning of our formal education program and certificates of education were issued for the first time. At the Dec meeting, members were advised that it was the Board’s intention that at least two of our meetings qualify for continuing education. Also, G.J. Baker was appointed as Membership Chairman.
