The objective of this course is to inform appraisers on the details and the particulars of Conservation Easements. Historically appraisers have been hesitant to deal with conservation easements and as a result there are very few appraisers in the market for these items. The hope is to encourage appraisers to think of the conservation easement differently and to dispel the fears associated with them.
