Michael “MJ” Carroll, MNAA, is the Principal Appraiser and founder of MJ Valuations, Inc., with over 35 years of residential appraisal experience across Southern California and, since 2016, Colorado. He began his career in 1987 with Home Savings of America and, by age 26, became the youngest district manager in Bank of America’s appraisal division. MJ has consistently ranked among the top producers nationally, specializes in complex property assignments, and has developed a broad network of clients—including lenders, attorneys, and real estate professionals—to deliver reliable valuation services .
An active leader in the profession, MJ serves as President of the Colorado Coalition of Appraisers, sits on the Board of the Colorado Association of Real Estate Appraisers, and is a member of the National Association of Appraisers. He holds an Associate of Arts in Real Estate from El Camino College and pursued Speech Communication studies at California State University, Long Beach.
